Product description
In alternating current, TIG AC allows you to weld aluminium and its alloys (AlSi, AlMg), while in direct current, TIG DC allows you to weld steel (carbon, stainless, low alloy and high alloy) and heavy metals (copper, nickel, titanium and their alloys).
The specific characteristics of this welding machine (INVERTER), such as the high speed and adjustment precision give excellent welding quality.
Adjustment with the “inverter” system on the power line input also determines a drastic reduction in volume both of the transformer and the levelling reactance, allowing manufacture of a welding machine with extremely contained volume and weight, enhancing its manageability and movement.
Main features
- TIG AC/DC (HF or LIFT), TIG PULSE (PULSE and EASY PULSE) and MMA inverter welding machine.
- HF strike: The electric arc is struck without contact between the tungsten electrode and the piece being welded, by means of a spark generated by a high frequency device. This strike mode does not entail either tungsten inclusions in the weld pool or electrode wear and gives an easy start in all welding positions.
- LIFT strike: The electric arc is struck by moving the tungsten electrode away from the piece to be welded. This strike mode causes less electrical-radiation disturbance and reduces tungsten inclusions and electrode wear to a minimum.
- Pulse TIG: the welding current changes periodically between a higher and a lower value. This cyclic current change allows finer control of heat input, which is beneficial when welding thin or heat-sensitive materials as it reduces the risk of overheating the material and minimizes distortion.
- Easy Pulse: simplifies the setting of pulsing parameters. It allows the welder to easily set the desired pulse frequency and amperage, thus optimizing the welding process for different materials and welding tasks.
- Use with different types of materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, nickel, magnesium and their alloys.
- Designed to ensure excellent results on every thickness even the thinnest, the PULSE mode (also in the EASY PULSE version) reduces material deformation ensuring high arc stability.
- Presence of advanced features: MIX AC-DC for preparation of AC welding of workpieces with considerable weights; THINSPOT for spot welding of very thin sheet metal.
- The LCD screen facilitates interaction with the product and simplifies adjustment of multiple parameters of the TIG welding curve depending on processing needs.
- You can save and retrieve customised programs.
- Electrode welding both in continuous and pulsed mode (MMA Pulse) which ensures excellent results with basic electrodes and in position welding.
- Designed for reliability over time, it features a dedicated air tunnel cooling system that protects against dust and dirt.
TIG - Selection modes 2T, 4T, 4T Bi-level, 2T Spot, 4T Spot, Thin Spot
- Operation in pulse and EASY pulse mode; in 2/ 4 times, Bi Level
- 2-stroke for quick and easy welding tasks, which allows an immediate stop when the trigger is released.
- 4-stroke for longer, continuous welding jobs, where the process can be stopped with the second activation of the trigger, thus reducing user fatigue and improving the quality of the seam.
- Bi-Level: welding starts by pressing and releasing the button on the welding gun. Each short press/release of the button switches the current from the set main welding current to the pulsed current and vice versa. Welding is completed when the button is pressed for a predetermined length of time.
- Spot: allows spot welds to be performed (0.1-10s) by checking the duration of the weld on the display (flashing icon).
- Thin spot: allows to perform short spot welds (0.01-0.09s) by checking the welding time on the display (flashing icon). Welding is performed by pressing and holding the gun's push button until the preset time (spot time) is reached. THINSPOT for spot welding of very thin metal sheets; MIX AC-DC for heating the workpiece for welding and preparing it for AC welding.
- 10 customisable welding programs
- Optimised minimum current start-up (HF/LIFT)
- Set up for remote control
- Compatibility with PRO torches
MMA
- Direct current and pulse (MMA PULSE) operation
- Hot start, Arc Force settings
- The Arc Force function This helps maintain a stable arc even in difficult conditions, such as dense welds. With the Arc Force function, the inverter automatically adjusts the current depending on the length of the arc. If the arc accidentally touches the workpiece, the current increases, so it does not stick. If the two are too far apart, the current will be reduced and the arc will not extinguish.
- Thanks to the Hot Start function, it helps to ignite the arc more easily by automatically increasing the current at the beginning of the welding process. This can be especially useful for difficult-to-ignite electrodes. Facilitates arc ignition for materials that are too cold or too thick.
- Anti-stick protection
- The Anti-Stick function prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece, reducing the current connected to the electrode when it detects sticking. This makes it easier to remove the electrode and reduces the risk of overheating.
- VRD device for greater safety. Enabling/disabling the “Voltage Reduction Device” for a safe start at low voltage.
