This welding machine is a source of current for arc welding, manufactured for MMA welding of coated electrodes (rutile, acid, basic). The specific characteristics of this welding machine (INVERTER), such as the high speed and adjustment precision give excellent welding quality.
Main features
- Direct current (DC) MMA electrode inverter welding machine, 80A. Supplied with welding accessories.
- Usable electrodes: rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, etc. up to 2,5 mm.
- Advanced arc control devices: arc force, hot start, anti-stick.
- The Arc Force function This helps maintain a stable arc even in difficult conditions, such as dense welds. With the Arc Force function, the inverter automatically adjusts the current depending on the length of the arc. If the arc accidentally touches the workpiece, the current increases, so it does not stick. If the two are too far apart, the current will be reduced and the arc will not extinguish.
- Thanks to the Hot Start function, it helps to ignite the arc more easily by automatically increasing the current at the beginning of the welding process. This can be especially useful for difficult-to-ignite electrodes. Facilitates arc ignition for materials that are too cold or too thick.
- The Anti-Stick function prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece, reducing the current connected to the electrode when it detects sticking. This makes it easier to remove the electrode and reduces the risk of overheating.
- Thermostatic, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent protection. Compatible for use with the motor generator (230V, +/-15%).
- Thermostatic Protection: A heat-sensing system that shuts down the machine if the temperature rises too high, preventing overheating.
- Overvoltage protection: Protects the machine from higher than normal voltage levels, which can damage the electronics or the internal parts of the machine.
- Undervoltage protection: It comes into operation when the supply voltage is too low, thereby helping to maintain the stable operation of the equipment.
- Overcurrent protection: Limits current through the machine to prevent overloading or damage to electrical components.
- High stability of the welding current in power supply voltage variations.
- Light and compact. Easy to transport. Contained consumption thanks to inverter technology.
MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding is an arc welding process, also known as manual metal arc welding or stick welding. This method uses a consumable electrode (welding rod) that melts simultaneously with the arc and serves as a filler material in the weld seam. MMA welding is often used in outdoor applications because it is less sensitive to wind and dirt than other welding methods. It is suitable for a wide range of metals, including steel and iron-based alloys, and is well suited for thicker materials and structural work.
